Massage Therapy
Our facility proudly offers soothing massage therapy customized to your situation. We currently have massage therapists on site that can considerably help with releasing tension and working on soft tissue by applying pressure and adding movement to them. This type of therapy is generally the quickest way of pain and ache relief from your injuries. Your body can feel sore up to 24 hours after your first massage. This is normal as the muscles will be in a state of releasing lactic acid build up, similar to working out. We recommend to keep hydrated for faster recovery.
Our registered massage therapists provide therapeutic treatments to help with:
-Muscle tension and stiffness
-Back and neck pain
-Headaches and jaw tension
-Stress and relaxation
-Sports recovery
-Postural strain from work or computer use
-Injury recovery
Massage therapy can help improve circulation, decrease muscle tightness, and support overall wellness.
Treatments are tailored to your preferences and may range from relaxation massage to deeper therapeutic work depending on your needs.
Many patients choose massage therapy as part of their ongoing self-care and injury prevention routine.
New patients are welcome and no referral is required.

Kinesiology
Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement. It examines how muscles, bones, joints, and nerves work together to produce movement and maintain physical function. Kinesiology is widely used in rehabilitation, injury prevention, fitness training, and performance improvement.
In healthcare and rehabilitation, a kinesiologist uses movement-based therapy and exercise programs to help people recover from injuries, improve strength and mobility, and return to daily activities safely.
Kinesiologists are an integral part of the Scona Sports & Physiotherapy team, encouraging patients to become stronger and more mobile in a way that is safe and unique to each person. Our Kinesiologists are able to design a specific exercise program unique to each individual to help create long lasting results that allows patients to get back to the activities they love to do.
